Fans of the Facebook page could watch the TV ads, submit their own 'Taste-look' (a comical reaction to eating an amount of Fisherman's Friend lozenges) via video or uploading a photo, browse the gallery of submissions and vote via 'Like' buttons. The project was based around the company's new slogan of 'All Sports, All Emotions' and was to created to showcase the new identity via a series of videos and a competition for users to submit their own emotion photos. I was responsible for all html, css and php development for this project, based on designs and briefs supplied by an agency. The website included: A press only sign in area where journalists could sign in and download press packs and view video idents and clips before launch. A video gallery of all the new idents and promotional videos, all compatible with a range of devices including ipads and mobile phones The entire site available in 9 languages An online competition where users submitted their own photographs of emotion around sport. The photos were voted on by using Facebook 'likes', which also spread awareness of he campaign throughout the Facebook audience. The winner appeared on Eurosport billboard advertising. Their music is influenced by everything from the Wu-Tang Clan to Aphex Twin. In August they announced a series of live dates across Europe, and I was asked to produce a website for the events. Lead singer Jack supplied me with mockups to follow for the page designs. We were also asked to produce a flash 'game' which displayed various elements of the stage at the Barbican, London, and allowed the user to fade and out various elements of the stage show - whilst playing their song 'We Want War'. Tal has worked with orchestras and musicians around the world, had his work shown at international film festivals at galleries such as the Tate Modern. HIs best known, most mainstream work would probably be the title sequence for the hugely successful E4 show 'Skins'. Tal created the opening sequence for all 4 seasons. It was this work which won him the BAFTA in 2008. The aim of this website was to showcase Tal's projects, and offer potential commissioners, press and people in the art / film industry a look at Tal's biography, press coverage and of course, show his films. Tal designed the site during an afternoon with me and I built it from his artwork files. All of the content is fully editable by Tal, as the site has a content management system built into it. An additional 'Downloads' area for press and pr purposes is scheduled as a next step for this project.
